The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC, www.kccoc.org) is pleased to announce a special performance, the ‘2026 Hangawi Concert,’ in collaboration with the Roosevelt University Orchestra on Friday, September 25, 2026, to celebrate Hangawi (Chuseok |Korean Thanksgiving), one of Korea’s most cherished traditional holidays.
Conducted by Benjamin Firestone, the evening will open with the iconic Korean folk song Arirang, weaving a vibrant tapestry of classical masterpieces and Korean cultural traditions. Following the concert, attendees are invited to enjoy traditional Chuseok refreshments, creating a warm, festive atmosphere of celebration and community.
