On September 25, BISCO Hall welcomed a full audience for the 2026 Hangawi Concert, presented by the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago in collaboration with the Roosevelt University Orchestra. The evening brought together Korean music and Western classical works, featuring “Arirang,” “Springtime in My Hometown,” and Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major, K. 364, performed with Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians Qing Hou and Lawrence Neuman. Guests also enjoyed traditional songpyeon and sikhye, making the evening a warm celebration of Korean culture, music, and community.
